Scoop is a nickname I was given by some family friends about 12 years ago. It is an appropriate nickname since I've wanted to anchor network news since the 4th grade. Our first child was born on May 31, 2006. His name is Andrew and he has not only changed how I appreciate seeing the inside of my eyelids for more than 4 hours straight, but also the way I see myself. No longer am I a television newswoman first..now I am Andrew's mom. I couldn't be happier.
